The area's most gifted vocalist and showman is back in town and on a mission from God. To bring back Classic Rock hits and good-time Rhythm and Blues, lightly seasoned with sophisticated Jazz. He has gathered the original lineup to revive what was one of the most popular acts at festivals and nightclubs throughout the Midwest.

Originally formed in 1982 at a small hall on 22nd Street in Milwaukee, the group has amazed audiences with their superb musicianship and dynamic stage show. They have played to wildly enthusiastic crowds at virtually every major festival, opened for many national acts, and been nominated four times for the Wisconsin Area Music Industry awards.

If you enjoy the music of Blood Sweat and Tears, Chicago, Van Morrison and Bruce Springsteen this is one act you will not want to miss.

Juliana and her band will be performing fan favorites from her solo catalog and most recent album Weird, along with select covers from the recent Juliana Hatfield Sings Olivia Newton-John and Juliana Hatfield Sings The Police.

Johnny G is a singer-songwriter who will capture your heart and soul through his acoustic storytelling and balladry. "Melodies be flowing through this soul of mine" are not only powerful lyrics from his debut single, "Goodness," but can also be used to describe all 10 tracks of debut album, "Riding the Wave." "Riding The Wave" is a soulful blend of acoustic melodies. His laid back vibes can be felt throughout the album. His songs are of inspirations sparked by relationships, travel and overall goodness in life. One will surely enjoy riding the wave through the journey of the album.

Johnny G played keyboard in local Milwaukee band "Jake Paul Band" for about a 4 year span (2010-2014). When the band stopped playing live he began the journey of focusing on the guitar and writing his own music which eventually led to playing a few live shows in the Los Angeles, CA area. The energy from traveling and the taste of solo shows help fuel the desire to write songs and produce his debut album "Riding the Wave". In 2019 Johnny G has spent the year traveling the country playing live shows promoting his music.

His sophomore album is scheduled for release early 2020.

Michael McDermott burst onto the scene in his early 20s with his exceptional debut, 620 W. Surf and subsequently found himself touted as Rock's 'Next Big Thing'. MTV, Rolling Stone, The New York Times and even author, Stephen King added their appreciative nods and having the backing of Giant Records and prestigious producers like, Brian Koppelman and Don Gehman, seemed to go a long way towards assuring his success - overnight success.

The missteps and failures that followed, the collapse of an industry that once embraced him as its next sensation, are troubles and travails that either ruin a person completely, or they force a change of attitude and staunch determination to gather one's resolve to not only survive, but overcome. McDermott vowed to do both. Ten albums in, it's resulted in Willow Springs (Pauper Sky, June 17, 2016), one of the most honest, daring and defiant recordings of McDermott's career. Named for the small town where he now resides with his wife and young daughter, it reflects a certain circumspect about his life, the situations he's encountered, while realizing that ultimately, his fate resided in his own hands.

"This is an album of reckoning I suppose," McDermott reflects. "There was a real cacophony of change going on in my life at the time... being a new father, losing my own father, leaving the city for the country, dealing with sobriety, grief, death, mortality, shame and forgiveness. It was a veritable emotional tsunami and yet somehow I had to navigate through it all. That journey is reflected in these songs. Willow Springs is the name of the place where I took refuge and had to confront a lot of things".

Recorded at his home in the country and fan-funded, Willow Springs finds McDermott behind the boards as producer for the first time with longtime producer and collaborator, Lex Price doing the mix. Having enlisted a stellar support group of musicians -- including multi-instrumentalist, Price; guitarist, Will Kimbrough; keyboard player, John Deaderick ; sax player Rich Parenteau; and McDermott's wife, Heather Horton on backing vocals - McDermott found himself able to craft the unassuming yet cutting sound he envisioned.

Indeed, the results bear out the fact that Willow Springs is the most honest and expressive album of McDermott's extraordinary 25 year career. Songs such as, 'These Last Few Days', 'Getaway Car', 'Half Empty Kinda Guy', 'One Minus One' and the title track, convey all at once, a sound that's both reflective and confessional - borne by stark emotion and a tattered, battered delivery that's both sobering and sublime. McDermott remains more determined than ever, and Willow Springs is the result. "My enthusiasm is only matched by my desire to continue to evolve as an artist" he insists.

Accolades and kudos can be accumulated one minute and quickly dissipate the next. After all, the music biz is a fickle beast and it doesn't matter how much you pleased the masses last year, last month or even last week, but rather, about what you offer today.

Today, McDermott has offered his best.

For almost 30 years, John 5 has been one of the most in-demand guitar players on the planet. As well as a guitarist for hire, 5 has shared the stage as axe-man for Rob Zombie, Marilyn Manson and Rob Halford. He has also worked with an impressive array of names, from all walks of music, including KD Lang, Rod Stewart, Dave Lee Roth, Alice Cooper, Tina Guo and Steven Adler.

To call John 5 a shredder does not do him justice. There's little he can't put his hand to.

John 5 was born John William Lowery, on July 31st 1971, in Gross Pointe Michigan. His love of guitar began at age seven, when he began watching the Hee Haw series with his father. "I watched the guitar playing and knew that was what I wanted to do. My friends wanted to be astronauts and such but all I wanted to do was play and play and play". Other notable influences included KISS and Jimi Hendrix.

John's parents brought his first guitar for Christmas, and supported their son as he began playing in bars and clubs, on the pre-condition that he kept his grades up. This in turn led John to form his first band 'Dirty Trixx' who won a major battle of the bands contest when he was in sixth or seventh grade. In a subsequent high-school band 'Vampirella', John began to experiment with what is now the trademark make-up that he still wears today; "we looked crazy on stage. I'd already started wearing eyeliner anyway but the stuff we wore on stage was crazy".

At the age of 18, John made the decision to move to Los Angeles to pursue a session guitarist career. Despite being the victim of a robbery on his first night, John hunkered down in abandoned warehouses and went door to door to sell his skills. A lucky break saw John get his first band experience in LA with 'Alligator Soup'. Stepping in when the singer was pulled from stage following a bizarre accident, John caught the eye of Rudy Sarzo who was so impressed with John's quick step-up, that he took him to dinner and asked to work with him. This in turn saw John meet producer Bob Marlette, who became a gateway for John's burgeoning career as a session guitarist. This partnership, and friendship continues to this day.

Big breaks saw John working with the legendary Lita Ford opening up for KISS, which for the man who is a huge KISS fan was like "all my Christmas' coming at once". Further work included with former Ozzy Osbourne drummer Randy Castillo and his first big project -- 'Red Square Black'. Together they released one EP -- 'Square' Shortly after John was selected from over 2000 other guitarists to play with K.D.Lang.

John's career flourished when he teamed up with Rob Halford and formed industrial/classic rock band '2wo' (Two).Their album, 'Voyeurs' was produced by Nine Inch Nail's frontman Trent Reznor. Following this, John worked with another chldhood hero -- Dave Lee Roth -- writing and playing on 'The DLR Band' album. "We did it in two weeks, and I remember Dave saying before we started recording, if you can't do it in two takes, then you can't do it."

In 1998, shock-rocker Marilyn Manson had just recording 'Mechanical Animals' and was in need of a new live guitarist following the departure of Zim Zum. John had just returned home following a European tour with 2wo, and almost immediately was contacted by Manson's management team, who invited John to lunch; 'I get there and it's Manson himself sitting at the table. As a result of that first meeting I had a new name and I was in the band." Signed on initially to play on the Rock Is Dead tour, John, now anointed John 5 by Manson, also contributed to the Grammy nominated "Astonishing Panorama of the Endtimes".

In April 1999, the US was rocked by a horrifying mass shooting at Columbine High School, and a media backlash saw the band the recipients of several death threats. Regrouping at the Houdini House in Laurel Canyon work began on 'Holywood: In The Shadow of the Valley of Death' the first full studio album that John 5 worked on. "Manson is a phenomenal producer and visionary. His production knowledge is astounding." During this period John 5 continued to do session work, contributing to the Jimi Hendrix Tribute album 'Hazy Days' and reuniting with Dave Lee Roth for the track 'Thug Pop'.

After the phenomenal success of Holywood, the band returned to the studio to record a different kind of album -- the Burlesque, Weimar Republic stylized 'The Golden Age of Grotesque'. However, the subsequent tour proved deeply conflicting as John 5's personal life clashed with his work life and as a result some tensions arose in the band. So in 2004, after 5 years in the band, John 5 and Manson decided to part company; "I'll never regret working with Manson, it was such a blast, but we both knew it was time to move on". Retaining his nickname and after a chance encounter with the legendary Les Paul, began working on his first solo album 'Vertigo'. The mix of John 5's trademark Drop D tuning intermixed with the Bluegrass music sounds he has listened to as a child, proved a hit with old fans, as well as introducing him to new followers.

John 5's solo career turned out not to be a flash in the pan, and he has now released 9 studio albums, a live album and a remix album . He has worked with several special guests on those albums, including Albert Lee who called John 5 "one of the nicest guys I've worked with", Steve Vai who called John "underrated", Joe Satriani, Jim Root, Eric Johnson and many more. As well as his solo albums John 5 teamed up with the vocal talents of Joe Grah (formerly of Texas band Jibe) to form "radio rock project" Loser. Their first single, 'Disposable Sunshine' featured on the Fantastic Four soundtrack.

In 2006, John 5 was invited to join Rob Zombie for a short Ozzfest tour. Despite being told "not to get too comfortable", the pairing brought a resurgence in Zombie, who at the point was turning his hand to directing movies and taking a break from music, they began work on 2006's 'Educated Horses'. As a consequence John 5 had to make the decision to leave his fledgling band Loser. "Being the founding member of Loser, my decision to leave was not an easy one."

John 5 continues to work with Zombie, co-writing on all studio albums since Educated Horses, and composing the score for Zombie's 2013 movie 'The Lords Of Salem'.

In 2015, following a series of web shows to celebrate the release of his solo album 'Careful With That Axe", John 5 decided to take his solo set on tour, and formed The Creatures band to support his live shows. Initially joined by long-term friend Rodger Carter on drums, the band continues touring to this day, and now work as a unit on 5's solo albums, including 'Season Of The Witch', the live album 'It's Alive' and 2019's 'Invasion'. The current line-up includes John 5, Ian Ross on bass and drummer Logan Miles Nix.

Although John 5 does less "hired gun" work, he has contributed to work with Lynryd Skynrd, Meatloaf, Ricky Martin, Rod Stewart, Motley Crue and Rod Stewart.

"I'm busy, constantly busy with work but I look at who I am in the studio with or sending music to and I think I don't ever want it to stop."

Celebrating their 32nd Anniversary together, Atlanta-based folk rock act, Drivin N Cryin, have spent most of 2017 on tour. In October 1985 Drivin N Cryin played their first show at Atlanta's famed 688 Club. The band quickly gained attention for its blistering live shows and amassed a rabid fanbase in the fertile soil of the late-1980s Southeast music scene. Now, 32 years later and releasing four full length albums on Island Records and one on Geffen Records founding members Kevn Kinney and Tim Nielsen find themselves enjoying a milestone anniversary for the band, having survived the pressures of fame, a shifting musical landscape, multiple lineup changes, and miles of backroads and highways to arrive here.

With a gold record, 10 full-length albums, and a handful of EPs to their credit, the band still refuses to rest. In 2012, a documentary about the band entitled Scarred but Smarter: Life n Times of Drivin' N' Cryin' was produced. In 2015, a collection of 10 choice cuts from the band's 4-EP "Songs" series, entitled Best of Songs, was released on Nashville's Plowboy Records. Additionally, the band was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame the same year. The following year, Drivin N Cryin released a vinyl-only album, entitled Archives Vol One , with a collection of basement recordings from the years 1988 to 1990.

With Dave V. Johnson as their drummer and the band's newest member Laur Joamets (originally Sturgill Simpson) now being added to the lineup, Drivin N Cryin is continuing to tour the U.S. to great acclaim.

Island Records will be re-releasing their acclaimed record "Mystery Road" through Universal Music Group later this year. Darius Rucker has cut "Straight to Hell" on his new album slated for this October with guest vocals appearances of Luke Bryan, Charles Kelley and Jason Aldean.

A quote from the band's lead singer, Kevn Kinney, gives a little insight into what Drivin N Cryin is all about: "We are a band that's like your record collection." Sunny Sweeney is the party and the morning after. She's the quip that makes you laugh and the truth that makes you cry, the devil that's egging you on and the angel whispering that you aren't alone. But those compelling contradictions aren't what's most interesting about Sweeney: it's the depth and brazen authenticity she brings to all her roles that grabs you and won't let go.

"I've grown up doing the bar scenes, and you have to have drinking and partying songs there--you have to," Sweeney says. "Now, my songs are still about the same things, but I feel like they're more mature versions."

Sweeney's salty wisdom and Texas-hewn soprano have never sounded stronger than they do on Trophy, her anticipated new album. Trophy is a breakthrough--the album we all suspected she was capable of making. It's about time. Sweeney is a veteran of the trade, and has logged her miles the old-school way. A three-year residency at the Poodle Dog Lounge in Austin--"It was a dump," she says. "They didn't even have a credit card machine or liquor license."--along with improv and stand-up comedy experience went a long way toward teaching her how to hold a room of cynical drunks in the palm of her hand.

The mastery of holes in the wall, major label stint, and serious songwriting chops make Sweeney something of a rarity: an artist with barroom cred, mainstream validation, and songs meaty enough for listening rooms. Or, as Rolling Stone put it in September 2016: "Sweeney is one of the rare entertainers who can hold her own at CMA Fest as well as AmericanaFest."

Produced by Grammy nominee Dave Brainard (Brandy Clark's 12 Stories) and recorded at Sound Emporium and Decibel Studios in Nashville, Trophygoes 10 songs deep without a single throwaway line. While Sweeney wrote with her longtime favorites including Monty Holmes, Buddy Owens and Jay Clementi, she has expanded her circle of collaborators in recent years. Lots of time writing with Lori McKenna, Caitlyn Smith, Heather Morgan, and others resulted in a deck that's refreshingly stacked: most of the songs on the album were written by women. "I feel like I have branched out a little in the writing department," Sweeney says. "And the record I ended up writing was pretty heavily written with females. While Sweeney didn't intentionally set out to write almost exclusively with women, the resulting songs capture the feminine experience with a combination of nuance, humor, and accuracy only possible because of the source.

Album opener "Pass the Pain" is a perfect example of Sweeney canvassing familiar territory in a more complex way. "It's a drinking song," she says. "It all actually happened when I was going through my divorce." Eased into with steel guitar and plaintive piano, the song begins with an indignant Sweeney demanding another round, but her brash confidence soon melts into a forlorn apology to the bartender reluctantly pouring her drinks, making the interaction and the hurt all the more real and sad.

"Bottle by My Bed" explores a different kind of heartbreak with breathless candor. "I only call my husband baby cause I love that word / never wanted something so bad, that it hurts / even give up these damned old cigarettes / if I could have a bottle by my bed." Written with the awe-inspiring McKenna, the song lays Sweeney's soul bare and captures the agony of not having a child when it's all you want. "That song is where I'm at right now in my life," she says. "It's the worst pain ever. When I wrote it with Lori, I never really even imagined singing it live--I certainly never thought I'd record it. Didn't think I had the balls to do it." Thankfully, she did. The song is important, not just because of Sweeney's gut-wrenching delivery, but because it tells a story too seldom told.

Sweeney wrote a total of four songs with McKenna for the record. "She's my spirit animal," Sweeney says of McKenna. The pair's "Grow Old with Me" is a tender ode to finally finding love that can last. "Trophy" is a wry takedown of Sweeney's husband's ex-wife. A slow burn with finger snaps and sauntering bass, the song reclaims an insult and makes it a compliment to laugh-out-loud effect. "Nothing Wrong with Texas," grapples with returning to a home that has an outsized identity you needed to escape before realizing it completes you.

The album's two covers sound like they could have been penned by Sweeney herself. Chris Wall's subtly brilliant waltz "I Feel Like Hank Williams Tonight" has never been in better hands. "Pills," written by Brennen Leigh and Noel McKay, tackles addiction and impending overdose with jarring empathy and cleverness. "It's a story about real life," Sweeney says of the song. "Brennen is one of my best friends, and we think a lot alike."

Perhaps most of all, Trophy is proof Sweeney knows exactly what she wants. "There's a lot of personal stuff on this record," she says. "I feel like the songs that get the strongest reaction are the ones that are the most truthful--the ones that have emotion. That's my job as a writer: to evoke some kind of emotion. I want everybody who hears this album to come away with something, whether it's to feel like they're not alone or inspired or like they want to laugh. I just want them to feel something."

Whether you are an 'ol timer that grew up listening to Mr. Cash in your tractor or a young soldier driving your tank across the deserts of the Middle East with the Man in Black in your headphones, the Church of Cash will bring his music, with style and energy to fans everywhere.

We're comprised of longtime Madison musicians Jonas Pritzl, Tim and Sheryl Hall, and Rob Bloch (formerly of New Speedway Players) with the fresh new twist of Kyle O'Hara and Lucas Trilling (of The Bellybutton Club) and Zach Watson from Milwaukee.

Anthony Gomes, #1 Billboard Blues Artist, is a triple threat force as a guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. Blues Revue Magazine recently declared that, "Gomes' formidable guitar chops and authentic singing place him in the forefront of modern blues." This, along with his high-energy shows and dynamic stage presence, make him one of the top draws on the Rock/Blues circuit today. Gomes has headlined concerts in 17 countries and has had the honor of sharing the stage with B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Robert Plant, Joe Bonamassa, Heart, Jonny Lang and Kenny Wayne Shepherd.

Word of Gomes' electrifying performances has reached Eric Clapton, Morgan Freeman, John Goodman, Toby Keith, Jonny Lang, Ron White and Vince Vaughn who have all attended Gomes' concerts. After experiencing Gomes live, John Goodman referred to him as "a pure soul brother" and comedian Ron White declared his official endorsement of Anthony Gomes. Perhaps the greatest complement was offered by Morgan Freeman who jokingly professed that Anthony was, "not bad for a white boy."

In addition to performing, Gomes is an award winning blues history scholar, earning the University of Toronto's C.P. Stacey Award for the highest overall academic grade point average by a history major. Anthony completed his master's degree thesis on the racial and cultural evolution of blues music, graduating with high distinction.

Believing that music can inspire the human spirit, Anthony founded the Music Is The Medicine Foundation in 2010. This non-profit organization is dedicated to changing the lives of others through the healing power of music. Through private donations and winning sizable grants from State Farm Insurance and CVS Pharmacy, the foundation has funded songwriting scholarships, offered music education programs, and donated musical instruments to those in need.

Born in Toronto, Canada to a Portuguese father and a French-Canadian mother, Gomes began playing guitar in his early teens and was drawn to the blues sounds of B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Eric Clapton and Jimi Hendrix.

He relocated to Chicago in the late '90s to learn from the blues masters. During his brief stint as a sideman for Magic Slim and the Teardrops, Gomes put together his own group and won the first annual Buddy Guy's Legends "Best Unsigned Blues Band" competition in 1998. Later that year, Gomes released his debut CD, Blues in Technicolor, which introduced him as a guitar-slinger loaded with impressive firepower.

On 2002's Unity, he accomplished the album's title with a heavy mix of styles leading Bandit Blues Radio to name it one of the "Top 30 Essential Blues CDs" of all time. Gomes was elevated to the top of the blues field just one year later when BluesWax Magazine named him "Artist of the Year," an award he would claim for several years in a row due to his endless commitment and touring. Music Is the Medicine (2006) peaked at number four on the Billboard Top Blues Albums chart, only to be outdone by LIVE (2008) debuting at number one. In 2012, Gomes received critical acclaim for his release of Up 2 Zero. The album was named the "Best Blues CD of 2012" by A1 Blues.com and the Blues Underground Network voted the album "Best Blues Rock CD of 2012." The accolades continued in 2013 with the release of Gomes' gusty acoustic album ...Before The Beginning. Blues 411 honored the release with the "Jimi Award" for best Blues/Rock CD of 2013 and it continues to make many "Best Albums of the Year" lists.

Gomes shows no signs of slowing down. 2015 will see the release of Electric Field Holler, a guitar driven blues infused rock 'n' roll album that showcases Gomes' blistering six string work and whiskey soaked voice. "I feel like this will be our pinnacle year in terms of creativity and artistic achievement," says Gomes, "it's time to turn it up."
